Pre & Post Conference Training Classes

Due to the overwhelming success of the in-depth training classes preceding our last customer conference, we will once again offer these in 2012. Three full-day classes will be offered on Monday, March 26 and one full-day class will be offered on Thursday, March 29.  Please note that the classes are limited to 18 students each to ensure high-quality, personalized training for each student.  Please be sure to register early to ensure your seat.

Compliance 360 System Administration Basics
Monday, March 26 (8:30am – 4:00pm)

For organizations new to Compliance 360 (<1 year), this is your opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the core system administration functions of the system and ensure that you are on the right track to success.  This is also your opportunity to network with your peers and learn from their experiences as well as best-practice recommendations from experienced instructors.

Course topics will include:

  • Employee and User Administration (Groups, Module Access and Security)
  • Editing Forms and Displays (Lookup Tables, Field Edits and more)
  • General Maintenance (Tips and Tricks for tertiary activities)

Compliance 360 Reporting Foundations
Monday, March 26 (8:30am – 4:00pm)
This Class is Currently Full

This class will cover all reporting options in the system, and will allow the students to develop a working foundation and proficiency in the Reporting module.
Students who complete the Reporting Foundations course will:

  • Gain a comprehensive foundation of knowledge in Compliance 360 reporting functionality, and learn how to apply the appropriate features to address typical reporting needs
  • Fully understand all of the options for report creation, using both Classic and Enhanced report styles, User-Defined and Pre-Defined report layouts, and the advanced features of the Report Creation wizard
  • Gain insight into Report Templates, and how they can be edited and tailored to incorporate your organization’s unique terminology and custom fields.  You will also learn how to make simple formatting and cosmetic changes to predefined report layouts for improved branding consistency and appearance
  • Incorporate custom fields created in Forms Configuration within User-Defined and Pre-Defined reports
  • Become proficient in updating pre-defined layout reports via customization in the Report Layout Designer. Topics covered will include removing unused fields, adding fields, adding logo images, page breaks, and grouping counts

IMA (Import Manager Application) and Workflow Template Design
Monday, March 26 (8:30am – 4:00pm)

Morning Session: IMA
The Import Manager Application is used by customers in a wide variety of ways to streamline bulk uploads of data into the system.  Originally designed to support initial loads of data into new systems, this powerful tool is now used by many organizations on an on-going basis.  This session will focus on loading employee data as well as data specific to one additional module to provide hands-on experience that students can adapt to a wide variety of scenarios.

Afternoon Session: Workflow Template Design
This class assumes some level of prior training and approximately 6 months of use in the system to gain full advantage of the session. This in-depth, hands-on training class will teach students how to set up Workflow templates to automate and streamline daily processes. Bring your workflows mapped out for Policies, Contracts, Incidents, and others. In this session learn how to:

  • Customize workflows with the delegate feature
  • Stop or re-assign workflows in process
  • Take advantage of rules, messages, etc.
  • Edit rules that send e-mail notifications
  • Use best practices to create simple workflows for modules such as Policies, Contracts and Documents
  • Use best practices to create more complex workflows for modules such as Incidents and Compliance Workspace

Compliance 360 Advanced Reporting
Thursday, March 29 (8:30am – 4:00pm)
This Class is Currently Full

This class will focus on features such as advanced filtering and report customization capabilities available with the Report Layout Designer (RLD).  This class will include a certification and certificate for Advanced Reporting. The Prerequisite for this class is REPORTING FOUNDATIONS or the ONSITE 5-Day System Admin Class.

Students who successfully complete the Advanced Reporting course will:

  • Develop proficiency with advanced report filtering
  • Understand the XML Export report capability
  • Learn how to update existing, pre-defined report layouts with conditional formatting, formula-based calculations such as If/Then/Else statements, and create summarized totals for groups
  • Be able to create report templates and pre-defined layouts from scratch
  • Understand the capabilities and limitations with custom report design

This class will include a certification and certificate for Advanced Reporting. Be sure to bring your laptop to this hands-on training class.
